The fall schedule of UW-Madison iSchool's online continuing education courses is out - and it has great content for youth services staff. These courses are all asynchronous - which means that you access them within each week at times convenient to YOU!
Teens in the Library Oct 14- Nov 24 (6 weeks)
A brand new course developed by teen services guru and YSS member Linda Jerome, this is a great way to strengthen and support your skills in all things teen.
What's New in Children's Books Oct 21- Nov 17 (4 weeks)
You've been asking for a return of this perennial favorite and UW heard you. This updated course is taught by Crystal Brunelle, blogger at Rich in Color and school librarian extraordinaire whose wide ranging knowledge of children's literature will help you update and strengthen your collection development skills.
