Program description: Libraries are in a unique position to support the development of its very youngest patrons! In this workshop, we’ll explore the A, B, C’s of programming for babies. We’ll look at infant programs based on the Babygarten curriculum, as well as resources and formats for creating your own infant program. Georgene will lead us through the nuts and bolts of working successfully with babies and their caregivers in a library setting. We’ll learn some new rhymes; sing some new songs, unison read, and bounce “babies” on our knees while affirming the fun and importance of programming for these little bundles of joy.
