The Cooperative Children's Book Center of the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has taken over coordination of the "Read On Wisconsin" literacy initiative. See the attached press release for more information, including the launch of the 2011-2012 Read on Wisconsin program!
We hope you'll consider using Read On Wisconsin titles and promoting the Read On Wisconsin program over the course of the coming year. Consider holding a Read On Wisconsin storytime or hosting a Read On Wisconsin book club in the school or public library. Share Read on Wisconsin titles with classroom teachers, too!

The site lists the Read On Wisconsin book selections chosen by the 2011-2012 Literacy Advisory Committee, as well as discussion questions for each book.
A new interactive Read On Wisconsin site is under development.
