Join us for some light refreshments in the Central Library Children’s Room in the Milwaukee Public Library’s historic downtown location. Not only can you view the beautifully renovated spaces of our central library, but also see the new way we promote great books for youth in our children’s entrance display.
Discover the great things happening in our Youth Services and Outreach departments! Library staff will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate our programs for ages birth to 18. Find out about our Ready to Read with Books2Go early literacy program, see how we organize a Family Play Date, view the final reports of the 2011 Super Reader summer reading program, learn how we are implementing the new Teacher in the Library program, and how we run the Teen Advisory Board.
