Happy 50th Anniversary to the Snowy Day

There's a great homage to this classic in the Chicago Trib.

After the article, there is this "ain't-it-the-truth" quote from Deborah Pope, the executive director of the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation: "Librarians are a breed of people we don't appreciate enough in this society," Pope says. "Especially children's librarians — they adore children and literature in a way that I don't think many of us can fathom. They are wonderful resources."
