Kuuuuuuhn visits Gillett Public Library

On June 10, the Gillett Public Library was chosen by the DPI to be the recipient of a Green Bay Packers player visit.  The event was in partnership with Edvest and TIAA-CREF’s “Leap Into Reading” program.

Green Bay Packers running back John Kuhn read two stories to the groups of children at the library. He also fielded questions from the audience, on everything from his favorite food to the hardest hitter in the NFL.

At the end of the programs, there was drawings for autographed footballs, books and passes to Packers Family Night in August.

One of Green Bay’s TV stations, WFRV, covered the event

A great morning was had by everyone who attended!
