Power Up! Brand New Youth Library Leadership Conference


Registration is now open for the first ever national youth library leadership/management conference right here in Wisconsin! Set for March 30-31, 2017 and held in Madison, the conference is sponsored by UW-Madison School of Library and Information Studies Continuing Education Dept.

The keynote speech will be given by Gretchen Caserotti of Meridien ID County Library and closing remarks by Deborah Taylor of Enoch Pratt Free Library.

Conference speakers are drawn from WI and around the country; from large and small libraries and from established leaders to those new to paths of leadership. A few of the speakers:  Melissa Depper, Claudia Haines, KT Horning, Amy Koester, Sharon Grover, Allison Tran, Renee Wallace, Leah Langby, Kevin King, Elizabeth McChesney, Shawn Brommer, Alea Perez, Jenni Frencham, Katie Kiekhaefer, Brooke Newberry, Kelsey Johnson-Kaiser, Alicia Woodland, Jill Harris, Lara Lakari, Lori Romero and more, more more.
