A night to celebrate children's literature is just around the corner.
Beginning at 5pm, Bao Phi will receive the award for his book A Different Pond. Honoree authors and illustrators will also be there and there will be book signings at this free event. Following a reception sponsored by the Friends of the CCBC, Benjamin Alire Saenz will deliver the Zolotow lecture at 7:30. All events are in Union Hall at Union South.
