Free Early Childhood App: "Vroom"

On Thursday I had the privilege to present on STEM programs at the WCCAA (Wisconsin Child Care Administrators Association) conference in Madison. I was able to attend the rest of the conference where I head about a FREE app for parents/caregivers.

The app is "Vroom" and it is meant to be an empowerment tool to help parents make ordinary moments brain building time with their child. Parents download the FREE app, and a new tip is delivered to them every day. Topics for tips include Math, Literacy, Problem-Solving, Self-Control, and Communication. 

As librarians, we have been giving parents early literacy tips they can do with their child anywhere for...well, forever. If you are looking for a way to increase exposure to early literacy tips for parents, Vroom may be a great option. And, it's free. :)
