Tickets Available for Arbuthnot Lecture With Debbie Reese in Madison
Debbie Reese, enrolled member of the Nambe Pueblo nation, blogger at American Indians in Children's Literature and fierce advocate for diversity, inclusion and authenticity in portrayals of First Nation peoples in youth literature will be presenting the national ALSC Arbuthnot lecture in Madison WI on Saturday, April 13, 7:30-9 pm.
The lecture, sponsored by the CCBC, UW-Madison iSchool and UW-Madison School of Education, is free. It will be held at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery - DeLuca Forum / Main Floor - 330 North Orchard Street.
If you can't make the event, the lecture will be livestreamed. Information on that will be forthcoming.
You need to register to reserve your ticket. But don't delay, this event will sell out quickly.
