Crowd-Sourced Storytime Tips

On October 2 and 3, ALSC (the Association for Library Service to Children) held its biennial youth services Institute virtually. Micro-bloggers for the ALSC blog did a great job sharing out the content of the sessions that focused on thoughtful discussions on diversity, inclusion and innovative methods to serve youth in our communities.

Among the many learning and sharing opportunities was a crowd-sourced song and story share. Blogger Katie Clausen wrote: "Wow! This session was a plethora of amazing information. People shared in the chat, in a Google Document, and turned on their camera to share live. Topics included Baby Storytime, Favorite Storytime Books, Rhymes, Flannelboards, Inclusivity, and more!"
