Best Wishes, Warmest Regards

With 2020 drawing to a close, I just wanted to share my thanks and appreciation for the members of this amazing group.  This certainly was an interesting year to be the Chair of YSS, but I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to connect--albeit virtually--with each and every one of you.

To all our members, I says thank you for just being you!  YSS is an incredible, creative combination of library staff serving youth from all around our wonderful state and, let's be honest, when that many amazing things combine together toward a common goal, it's a recipe for success.

To our new Board and committee members: WELCOME!  Get ready for a year of connection, inspiration, and fun.  Let's do this thing.

Last, but certainly not least, to those Board and committee members leaving their positions at the end of the year, thank you SO MUCH for your hard work, dedication, creativity, and enthusiasm.  It was an honor to have the chance to become not only collaborators, but also friends.  We'll miss you terribly, but you can bet your bottom dollar we'll stay in touch!

Our members are truly what makes YSS great.   I know I'm preaching to the choir, but this amazing group--filled with passion, humor, and integrity--is worthy of all the respect and good things in the world.  Together we make a difference.

Here's to a grand 2021.
