ALL.THE.THINGS. with Jonathan Dolce - March 2021

Jonathan Dolce in virtual storytime action
Long time readers of this blog know that I perk up whenever ALSC blogger Jonathan Dolce takes up his pen (or keyboard). And again, Jonathan didn't disappoint in a recent post.

In a link-rich post, Dolce goes virtual crazy. He starts with discussing a few platforms and their pros and cons. Dolce then links to library webpages that are using these in their programs (thank you!). [MLW aside: you can also find some additional great tech info for your virtual programs from the ALSC Virtual Storytime Services Guide which is free at the ALSC website].

But that's just the beginning. He follows with an absolute flood of ideas for virtual programs that can be done locally or system-wide: crafting; cooking; poetry; yoga; reader's advisory; virtual tours; cosplay and so, so much more. Much of this rich idea content includes links and examples to spark your creativity.

Don't believe me? Stop here and check it out!
