Using Literacy "Asides" in Storytime

In a recent ALSC blog post, Maria Trivisonno shared tips on using literacy asides within our storytimes. She suggests that December is a great time, while we pause many storytime sessions, to work on adding to our toolkit of literacy we incorporate into storytimes. 

As a trainer in Ohio, she and her colleagues base their training work on asides on the seminal work done by Melissa Depper of the Arapaho District Library. In this post she shares Melissa's handout!
