ALSC's Children's Literature Lecture in Minneapolis Next Year

This is great news! Each year this prestigious children's literature lecture is hosted at a new location all over the country. In spring, 2026 Cynthia Leitich Smith will be presenting the lecture right next door in the Twin Cities. It's a marvelous opportunity to start planning for.  

Host Site for Children's Literature Lecture Selected As announced at the ALSC Membership Meeting at ALA Annual 2025, Elmer L. Andersen Library, University of Minnesota Libraries, Minneapolis, Minnesota will host the 2026 Children's Literature Lecture, taking place in Spring 2026 and featuring award-winning author Cynthia Leitich Smith (Muscogee Nation).
