Autism Resources, part 2

 As part of a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant, the Indianhead Federated Library System created a web page with a variety of current resources about autism, divided into categories, including some excellent suggestions for and video examples of adapted sensory story times.  Hopefully it will be helpful to some of you!

Another resource:  we have a webinar about autism coming up next week.  Four librarians attended the 2012 Wisconsin Autism Society Conference (thanks again to the LSTA grant).  Wow!  What an experience, to get outside the library world and really delve into another area!  I highly recommend it.  To tide you over till you can make plans to attend a conference like this, the four librarians who attended plan to share some highlights, resources, and inspiration they gained from the conference at a webinar on Wednesday August 22 from 1-2 pm.  Register here.
