DIY Smashbooks
I love low-key teen programming. Easy, but longer projects give teens a chance to socialize during the entire program, with less stress about a completed craft project. One idea that I LOVE, from over at the Teen Services Depot blog, is DIY Smashbooks. With binder rings as the only major investment, this project is a good one for small budgets. Also, the creative aspect of what teens can choose to include (envelope pockets, fun hole punches, gems, etc.) lends itself to a highly social discussion based around their projects. Check out the full instructions HERE.
