Seriously Great Outside Winter Programming Ideas

Colorado State Library sponsored a lively and easily-doable webinar last week on how to create fun outdoor library programs during the winter. If you are dreading the cold weather and snow coming because of how it might affect your pandemic-era programs, this session is for you.

With ideas that range from story strolls; promoting birdwatching and stargazing; snow sculpture challenges; scavenger hunts, sidewalk obstacle course and more, both the presenters AND participants shared plenty of ideas to get you excited about winter!

You can access the webinar archive here where you'll find a list of ideas and resource links, the slides and a session transcript. Now go and enjoy the winter!
