Why I Love YSS

It's February, the month of love. The YSS board decided to share with everyone the reason why they love YSS. This series will run Wednesdays and Sundays throughout February!

I love YSS because it’s an ever-evolving and consistently positive group. Whether you are new to library service to kids, teens, and families or an experienced staff member, YSS offers a place to belong and give back.

 

When I started my position nearly ten years ago, I was told that there are three legs on the Wisconsin youth services stool—YSS, the CCBC, and DPI. This seems truer than ever, and a reminder that together we are stronger. I am proud to serve as an ex-officio board member in my role at DPI.
