CCBC Director KT Horning writes:
"If you missed the Charlotte Zolotow Lecture by Christopher Myers last week, either live or via livestreaming, you can now watch an archived video of it. If you want to use captions, you can just click on the CC underneath the video in the center next to the volume bar.
A Mystery to Me, one of Madison's independent bookstores sold Chris's books at the lecture, and they did have him sign some of their remaining stock after the lecture. If you would like to get an autographed book, you can inquire about getting one by contacting them directly.
We are also happy to announce next year's Charlotte Zolotow Lecture. Since this will be the 25th anniversary of the Lecture, we want to honor Charlotte's career as both an author and an editor, so we have invited Alivina Ling, vice president and editor-in-chief at Little, Brown, and award-winning author/editor Grace Lin. If you are not familiar with Grace and Alvina's wonderful podcast Book Friends Forever (BFF) about their working lives, their longtime friendship (since childhood!), and the children's book world, I encourage you to start listening. A couple of us at the CCBC are absolutely addicted to it, and it's been called "The Ted Lasso of Publishing Podcast World." We think that's an apt description.
Here's a link to their podcast. "
