Angeline Boulley will deliver the 2023 Charlotte Zolotow Lecture on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. (Central), at Union South on the UW-Madison campus. Ms. Boulley, an enrolled member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, writes about her Ojibwe community in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Her highly regarded debut novel, The Firekeeper’s Daughter, was a CCBC Choices title, a New York Times #1 Bestseller, and received many other accolades. Her new novel, Warrior Girl Unearthed, was released in May 2023. Registration is requested to facilitate seating and space needs. This free public lecture is sponsored by the Cooperative Children’s Book Center and the Friends of the CCBC, Inc., and is part of the Wisconsin Book Festival.
