I recently received an email from Mental Health America about a free, online event called the Youth Peer Support Action Summit. Its goal is to "unite and inspire youth and young adult leaders in peer support, including peer specialists, program leaders, and advocates." While the "ally" tickets are sold out, anyone under 30 can register as a "youth." The youth ticket is for "people working in mental health, those who have their own lived experience, or those interested in peer support."
They haven't released a schedule for the event, but my library has really been focusing on mental health, so I'm excited to see what will be talked about during the sessions.
