Oregon Public Library       Teen Librarian (Full-Time) 

The Oregon Public Library is seeking an energetic, creative, and self-motivated Teen Librarian to join our Youth Services Team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with all ages and provides high quality and innovative library services and programs to teens. Successful candidates work well in a collaborative environment and have strong communication and technology skills. 

 

Responsibilities include: providing patron assistance at the public service desks, planning and executing programs, outreach, and services for teens, assisting with children’s programs and storytimes, maintaining teen collections, coordinating the library’s makerspace, and marketing teen programs and services. 

 

A Bachelor’s degree, one year of public library experience and experience working with teens or equivalent is required.   

 

This is a full-time position with a starting wage of $25.68 and includes days, some evening and weekend shifts.  This position is eligible for excellent benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, sick leave, and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System. This position works under the general supervision of the Youth Services and Community Engagement Librarian.
