Last week, ALA Announced that the 2026 Youth Media Awards - recognizing the top books, digital media, video and audio books for children and young adults - will take place Monday, January 26 10:00 am at the Hilton Chicago hotel. For those local to the Chicago area, the event will be free and open to the public, but registration will be required. Registration will open in December 2025. As usual, the announcement will also be live streamed at ala.unikron.com and on the ALA Facebook page. No registration is required to view the livestream.
