Katherine Hickey, a Children's Librarian from Oklahoma City shared an awesome post over at the ALSC blog about big body play in the library. According to the article, big body play is "the boisterous and physical kind of play engaged in by children." She also shares some wonderful examples of how libraries around the country are already incorporating big body play into programs and events.
Think big body play is too, well, BIG for your library space? There are great solutions, including partnerships and using outdoor spaces that create big play opportunities for libraries with a limited footprint.
