Looking for something local when discussing literacy? Check out this episode of Lake Effect from WUWM (Tuesday, May 19), where speech pathologists discuss their use of a grant to enhance teaching the link between language and literacy in their classes at Marquette.
There also is a segment about books for summer reading from the Next Chapter Bookshop folks. These would be more than just 'beach reads', as the intro states.
