Happy Birthday, Dear Caldecott Award

Yep, hard to believe that little spring chicken is soon turning 75 years old. The Association for Library Service to Children is not standing still. Big plans are afoot throughout the next year to celebrate this prestigious award in style.

Webinars, including an upcoming one with Wisconsin's own K.T. Horning; a celebration at the ALSC national Institute this September; a brand new logo shown here created by 2008 Caldecott medalist Brian Selznick (isn't it delicious?  How many characters can you identify?);  a scrapbook of memories of the award; a special Children and Libraries issue....well, click here to read all about it!
