IDEAS
Last year I went to the YSS idea swap at a conference. Another librarian shared the idea: TWINKIE PARTY. We hosted one this past summer and it was a huge success.
I wanted to display all the twinkies. The kids wanted to eat them.
If you need ideas to spice up your programming or want to share ideas where you excel, DONT MISS OUT.

The Youth Services Information Exchange is open to anyone interested in discussing youth services trends, issues, and ideas for public libraries in Wisconsin. This mega-session will offer attendees the opportunity to share, show, talk, meet, and connect. Discussion topics might include collaborations with school libraries or local agencies, grant opportunities and success stories, program sharing within systems, and professional development on a budget. DPI and YSS hosts will emphasize the structure and role of youth services networks in Wisconsin and how these networks can improve support and leadership to youth services librarians.
