Guerrilla Storytime - New Learning!
Amy over at Show Me Librarian blog shares a cool new "happening" that sprang up at this year's ALA conference in Chicago. Dubbed "Guerrilla Storytime", it was a chance for librarians doing early literacy work to meet informally and share songs, tips, fingerplays, techniques and great books with other youth folks.
There was excellent turn-out and participation. I made it to one session and learned a ton. Plus I got to meet alot of great new colleagues!
Hmmmm, I wonder if we could try this at WLA???
