Lifehacker recently shared a helpful post for parents with tips on talking to kids in a way that discourages stereotypes. Written by Marjorie Rhodes,  Associate Professor of Psychology at New York University, the article encapsulates a number of issues identified through research that can help adults speak without encouraging stereotyping. It's a perfect read for youth librarians as well.
