National Poetry Month on Twitter!

Some of our favorite authors (ahem* Jason Reynolds *ahem) are celebrating poetry month on twitter with a 30 for 30.  That is, thirty poems written in the month of April.  

Here's a sneak peek of day 1:

to Yusuf the tallest eighth grader

with legs of a grown man and

heart of anything but

I wanted to say to him

sweet child

don’t worry

the world is yours

but I could not tell him

to just be thirteen
