Assistive Technology

There is an email going around on the South Central Library System's kidslist about assistive technology.  Rose, from the South Central Library System shared that The Department of Public Instruction has a section of their website about assistive technology. There are resources, webinars, information about laws relating to assistive technology and so much more in this section of the website.

This page includes monthly updates from the AT forward project, which "works with self-advocates, educators, practitioners, caregivers, and families to increase student autonomy in utilizing Assistive Technology tools to support access, engagement, and progress in learning." The updates include professional learning opportunities, resources suggestions, and much more! If you're looking to stay on top of assistive technology information, this is a great place to start.
