Examining, Changing, and Creating Policies for Inclusion, 1:30 - 3:30pm
April 5, IFLS Office (1538 Truax Blvd, Eau Claire)
April 19, Rice Lake Public Library (2 East Marshall Street)
A
panel of librarians from the IFLS region will discuss the ways they
have examined library policies with a lens of inclusion. They'll take
you through the process they went through to talk to board members,
staff, the public, and other stakeholders about possible changes. We'll
also have time to discuss other ways to approach making library
resources accessible, even if policy changes (like removing or reducing
fines) are not a path that you want to (or are able to) take. Register
