DPI is providing up to 20 grants of $10,000 each to help Wisconsin
educators create and curate high quality educational materials and to
share them as Open Educational Resources (OER) in WISELearn. All
applicants must be Wisconsin public educational entities (schools,
CESAs, libraries, etc.), though they may partner with other
organizations.
OER are teaching and learning materials that have been made easier to use via licensing them (usually under
Creative Commons) to be freely used, distributed without restriction, and often modified without permission.
