“The Great American Read”

Earlier this month, Rebecca Rego Barry over at Fine Books & Collections shared an article discussing the upcoming PBS series "The Great American Read".  To get readers and viewers ready for this book club style show, PBS has posted their public opinion-based list of 100 most loved books.  Some are classroom classics like The Grapes of Wrath and The Catcher in the Rye, with contemporary favorites like The DaVinci Code and A Game of Thrones mixed in.

This list, and the show itself, could be a great addition to an already long-standing book club tradition, or open the way for teens and adults to have a shared reading experience.  The programming possibilities abound!
