WLA is throwing its hat into the virtual conference ring with an all-day day conference coming up Wednesday Nov 11 beginning at 9am. The conference features brief keynote remarks by Lt Gov. Mandela Barnes; State Superintendent of Schools Carolyn Stanford Taylor and Michael Perry.
Burr Worzalla Book Award winner Geoff Herbach joins us for the traditional YSS luncheon at noon (while we nosh on our own homemade goodies). Programs include sessions on demographics; the traditional "At the Movies"; thinking about your library's style guide and WLA Awards and Honors. The day winds up with evening trivia fundraiser for the WLA Foundation.
