Printed Media

Is the printed newspaper dead?

NPR's On the Media did a report about newspapers and how news/media, online sources and the current economy is affecting this type of publication.

What have you noticed in your libraries? Do those online sources get used (and properly)?

Welcome to the new YSS Blog

It's come to my attention that I'm not very good at keeping the events section of the YSS website up-to-date. With the redesign of the new website, I'm hoping to avoid that problem with the creation of this blog, but I can't keep it up to date all by myself. Email me events that you think would be of interest to Children, Youth, and Teen librarians around the state and I will post it as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for all your help. I'd love to hear what you think of this idea and what you think of the YSS site redesign. Make on comment on this post and let me know what you think!
