Then check out the Programming Librarian Interest Group on Facebook for program suggestions! Like this Poop Party post featuring TP races, Poop Shoot, Put the Poop in the Potty, and a photo booth! Or this thread discussing ideas and advice for a poop-themed programs for ages 6-10. From reaching out to local wildlife resources to teach scat identification and pairing it with a storytime featuring similarly themed books to DIY Poop Emoji squishies, this thread includes a ton of great ideas.

We know how intense summer is. Pair it with high temps, big storms and rolling black-outs just when you have an outside program or the performer has her amp plugged in and stress goes sky high.

Need a Laugh? Youth Work through a Yoga Lens

This tongue-in-cheek, dryly witty ALSC blog post features children's librarian Jonathan Dolce explaining the various yoga poses that youth librarians do as they go through their daily routines. Even if you've never done yoga, you can't help but smile at his explanations, contortions, and asana titles like Seeking Picsherbukasana and Netwrkdown Againasana -  all presented in a mock serious tone!

SHe describes herself as a "multimedia parodist finding the best in a collectively bad situation."
