Webinar - Remote and Online Services & Resources for Youth Librarians

The UW-Madison iSchool's Continuing Education Dept sponsored a great hour-long webinar in their "Alumni Webinar" series Wednesday March 25 responding to youth librarians who are looking for guidance and information on serving their kids and families during this time of library closures and limited services. To access the webinar recording, slides, chat log and resources list, please stop here (and scroll to March 25, 2020).

Panelists Abby Landers, youth librarian at the La Crosse (WI) Public Library, Anne Hamland, System Youth Services Consultant (among other hats she wears) at WI Valley Library Service and Marge Loch-Wouters , Southwest WI Library System Youth Services Consultant made up the panel. The presenters shared tips on consistency in planning, intentionality in creating programs, navigating fair use and ideas for programs and services during COVID-19 closures.

A special thanks to Meredith Lowe of the iSchool CE Dept who recognized the need for this webinar and reached out to the panelists last week to coordinate and put it all together!
